Not two weeks ago I attended my fifth Otakon. I attended many events at that convention, one of which was The Old School Anime Panel. There were many problems with this panel, and there are many problems with panels at cons in general. That topic is covered in depth on my podcast, Dave and Joel’s podcast and possibly in the future on AWO. Regardless, during that panel a friend of mine decided he wanted to start trouble. He raised his hand, got up and stated that Sailor Moon is not old school. This of course, created quite a stir among the general fandom attending the panel. I was at the digital life trade show today. They had Mario Kart and Animal Crossing both playable. I couldn’t resist opening the Wi-Fi menus to answer all those questions that neither Buffalo nor Nintendo would acknowledge. Rest assured, the answers are good. This blog post is a bunch of blurbs about what’s been going on since last I posted. I don’t usually do posts about my life, but a lot of things have happened that may interest other people. And if I wait for my new site to be finished before I post, there will be a long time of waiting.

Tomorrow I am not going to work. I am going to The Otakon. This will be my fourth Otakon. If you’re going to be there and you want to see me I am guaranteed to be at the club summit panel. Also, look out for me and my crew cos-playing as the axe gang from Kung-Fu Hustle. Sometimes I think I work all year just so I can pay to go to Otakon. Of course, now I make so much more money that I could really work maybe one week and still afford to go.

Back in the hippy times there was this thing called Woodstock, you might have heard of it. Hoardes of like minded people gathered to celebrate music, freedome and all that other cool hippy stuff. I wish I was alive, it was probably a blast.
