OK, I’ve got quite a few updates about this site here. First off, there’s a problem with running out of RAM on our hosting. I’ve fixed it by adding more swap space, but that is far from an ideal solution. There might be a short downtime between now and the end of March when I upgrade to a better hosting package.
Sorry if you were disturbed by the unexpected downtime. The server ran out of RAM and decided to stop the database server to free some up. I am currently working to make sure this does not happen in the future.
So I upgraded this blog software up to WordPress 2.0. What does this mean for you? Absolutely nothing unless you happened to visit during the 30 seconds of downtime. Perhaps the site might be a little faster, but I don’t notice it. What does it mean for me? It means that blogging is ten thousand times more awesome.

Yes, you heard it right here. I finally had some free time to do computer work, and I did some. I wasn’t lying when I said the shit-talking days were over. Every single blog entry from my old blosxom based blog has been finally ported over into this newer WordPress blog. Hopefully next week I will update to the newer WordPress 2.0 and it will rock the house. In the meantime, feel free to explore the archives and read any of the good stuff you may have missed.
You may have recently noticed some new posts on this blog that are just sets of links. That is from an experimental feature on del.icio.us that I setup. From now on every day there will be a post automatically appearing here which contains all of my social bookmarks for that day. I hope someone finds it useful.

You my remember the audioblog I made in June of last year. I can’t even remember what I said, and I really don’t want to listen to it again. When I came up with the idea I thought it was so great, but I didn’t feel to good when I actually recorded myself. But it appears now I have come full circle.
