It's looking ok, but that plan might not be in motion because look at say, mainstream music. The major record label execs control the majority of what the artist performs. The artists are usually the entertainer, the soldier. The execs control the music and mandates deadlines and makes "suggestions" to what the artist "Might" want to perform for their next single. The artist doesnt have much a say so in the whole thing under this model, man. Your model works great for underground music and aspiring artists. In fact, some people on the net actually use something similar to your idea, so that idea was a great vision of insight, but It's gonna take some serious work to have it function correctly in mainstream music. Two, alot of people hearing the artist's music under your model are not good people. There wont be much secrecy in the industry, and there wont be too many suprises on the cds from our favorite artists. Take for instance someone who invents something, it took em years to invent it till they got bored with the thing. Whoever helped invent the thing got bored with it, but when it gets released to the gen p, we go head over hills for it because it's so new and cool. So ya, the interactive fanbase with mainstream music and with the trend of pirating and leaked music, I'm kinda iffy.
